About us
For more than four decades now, dentona has optimized and continued to perfect the production of dental models with numerous product innovations concerning gypsums and special resins for 3D printers as well as milling blanks for thermoelastic splints. When dentona research findings are implemented as highend specialities, the focus is always on the benefit to the customer. This is possible due to close, personal contact with the technicians and due to an efficient network of partners that not only bring in their own ideas and needs from their daily practice, but also coordinate the development phases of new products. The result is a number of specialities, some of which have even become legendary, such as dentona No.1, esthetic-base® gold or Zero arti® for gypsums and newly optiprint® lumina, laviva, clara and Zero for the 3d printing resins and optimill® memosplint.

The famous and unique Zero expansion stones as well as the type 4 die stone dentona Nº1 represent the top products in the market of the plaster range. At the IDS 2021 dentona® had presented their new optiprint resins optiprint clara, laviva, lumina and Zero for all different 3D printers. The proven thermoelastic material for the production of the most comfortable splints is available as combinable milling blank and powder liquid solution.

The special thing about the material is the temperature-dependent mechanical properties. The material becomes more flexible
at body temperature in the patient's mouth without losing its high tear and breaking strength. For the patient this means a significantly
increased wearing comfort. The memory effect achieved by the material properties allows the splint to automatically reset after
deformation.
dentona No. 1
perfect finishing by its high level of stability.
It has extremely low expansion values at a previously unattained hardness
of more than 400 N/mm². This combination
of outstanding physical properties allows
a shatterproof exposure of the margin line and
general working conditions with the highest
precision. The exceptional surface gives
the model an unrivaled brilliance.
